Dr. Giuseppe Frazzitta
I currently direct the Parkinson’s disease and Brain Injury Rehabilitation Department, which is specialized in the treatment of patients with Parkinson’s disease and in the early rehabilitation of patients with Brain injury. I have experience in both diagnostics and clinical treatment of patients with neurodegenerative disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, Parkinsonism and Alzheimer’s disease; as well as experience with rehabilitation of patients with cerebrovascular disease and spinal cord injury. Over the past ten years I developed a Multidisciplinary Intensive Rehabilitation Treatment (MIRT) for patients with Parkinson’s Disease. Moreover we have developed a project for a early verticalization of patients with Severe Brain injury (Glasgow coma scale < 8) during their hospitalization in the Neurological intensive care ward, during the first week.
